Noynoy's Lucky Stars
What a show of support.
Say what you will about artistas and endorsements -- that they were only doing it for the money -- but does anyone honestly believe that all of these artistas were paid for this? The word is they offered their services for free. Same for Ogie Alcasid, who wrote the song, and the production crew and shops that did the material.
So why'd they do it -- effectively closing the doors on any other political endorsements, especially now when the demand and price for entertainers doing political endorsements is up?
(That's a rhetorical question, of course.)
And while I'm at it, this kind of leaves Erap, Villar, and Gibo's camps with the leavings of Philippine showbiz, doesn't it? Especially when they'll have to pay for the talent. This kind of blows everyone else out of the water.
Incidentally, I'm sure a lot of you are thinking that this TVC does not remove the pressing need for the NoyMar camp to lay out its program of government ASAP. I wholeheartedly agree.
Nevertheless, this TVC can only help boost the NoyMar campaign.
Ever seen a real catfight?

I watched U2 perform live
... when they broadcast their concert live on Youtube.
Watched this with my officemates -- during lunchbreak, boss, in case you're reading this.
The sound wasn't bad at all though the video was patchy and would freeze at times. Still, with everyone in this part of the world (read: Manila) convinced that U2 will NEVER ever play here, this is the best we can get. Short of flying to watch them, which most of us can't afford anyway.
You'll notice - if you haven''t seen U2 in a while - that Bono, the Edge, Adam Clayton and Larry Mullen have aged. They're not exactly ossified yet - but they will be by the time you get enough cash to watch them 'live', chances are.
So, check them out here while they still retain some of their youth as well as see why they remain one of the biggest rock bands in the world.

The Other 100 Best Movie Quotes of All Time
Everyone has their favorite movie lines -- well. here's a hundred that you just might have missed, but which I'm sure you'll remember if you're of a certain age.
Take a look and tell me what your favorites are.
Here's one: “Okay, you have a body in a car, minus a head in the garage. Take me to it.” Pulp Fiction
BTW, there's a lot of profanity. You've been warned.
(Thanks to Macr for this one)

WTF!
This is weird, true and freaky: a three-headed frog.
A freak of nature or a menage a trois?
Either way...
I'm going to have strange dreams tonight, I think.
This is Michael Jackson's Last Song
This is it, literally.
