Teri Hatcher insults Filipinos

Actually, blame the scriptwriter.

And the producer.

And the network.

Shame, shame, shame.

Please, dear Lord, for poetic justice, when these guys grow old or get sick, let them get Filipino nurses and doctors to care for them. And let the dialogue please be, " Oh, I'm sorry. I shouldn't treat you because I'm from the Philippines."

RE: PIKET NG GRUPONG NATIONAL ALLIANCE FOR FILIPINO CONCERNS (NAFCON) SA TAPAT NG OPISINA NG NASABING NETWORK SA 77 WEST 66TH STREET, MANHATTAN, NEW YORK.

To All My Co-Fellow Filipinos:

I am from USA, I am writing to share my opinion and suggestion about
the American Broadcasting Studios (ABC) over the racial slur made against Filipino medical practitioners in an episode of the popular television series “Desperate Housewives.

I, too, am very sad and felt disappointed on how they belittle our medical schools in the Philippines. Almost everday I read the updated news about this case on our Filipino website television news.

The latest news that I’ve read; ABC Network has already made an apology and the Palace has already accepted it. The episode is being edited and is no longer available on digital media platforms and will be replaced once the editing has been completed.

It is to my concern, fellow Filipinos all over the world especially here in USA; I think we already got what we want and that is enough for me as long as they apologize and no future discriminatory and prejudism incident will happen again.

In fact, I forwarded emails from my friends and classmates here and all over the world to sign a petition against Desperate Housewives and ABC.

In my opinion, if we continue to protest and form a picket infront of the Network in New York or anywhere else here in US it will only create hatred between Filipinos and White Americans. They will only think that we are trouble maker.

Obviously I’m surrounded by black people here in my place. Everyday I always hear, see, read about racial discrimation between black and white every since black people made as a slave by white.

One incident is about “Don" Imus, Jr. is an American humorist, philanthropist, writer, radio and television talk show Imus in the Morning was aired over WNBC. On April 4, 2007, during a discussion about the NCAA Women's Basketball Championship, Imus characterized the Rutgers University women's basketball team players as "rough girls" commenting on their tattoos. His executive producer Bernard McGuirk responded in his familiar "urban-speak" vernacular by referring to them as "hardcore ho's". The "urban-speak" banter continued with Imus describing the girls as "nappy-headed hos” and McGuirk remarking that the two teams looked like the "jigaboos versus the wannabes" mentioned in Spike Lee's film, School Daze; apparently referring to the two teams' differing appearances which led to the cancellation of Don Imus Show.

And the latest now is about the Jena 6 which refers to a group of six black teenagers who have been charged with the beating of a white teenager at Jena High School in Jena, Louisiana, United States, on December 4, 2006. The six black students were initially charged with attempted second degree murder and conspiracy to commit second degree murder.

For them black people are trouble maker because they always protest, rebellious, bad people, rude, uneducated, no descency and many other negative behaviour I know there’s no similarity between the racial discrimation of the Filipinos and Black. What I’m only trying to impart to you is that in the future we will be loser too if we continue to become rebel and they will only make laugh to us (Filipinos) if we make some unprofessional behaviour and acts.

YOU VERY MUCH AND MAY OUR GOOD LORD JESUS CHRIST CONTINUE TO BLESS YOU AND ENLIGHTENED YOUR MIND AND HEART!

Ipinag mamalaki ko po na Filipino ako dahil WE ARE THE ONLY PEOPLE HERE ON EARTH WHO CAN GET ALONG WELL WITH OTHER PEOPLE WITH DIFFERENT CULTURES AND NATIONALITY ALL OVER THE WORLD because….

PINOY IS THE BEST!!!

May our Good Lord Jesus Christ continue to bless us….

Pinoy Ako
